What is the purpose of a cleanser? (A deceptively simple question.) A cleanser's purpose is to mix with and dissolve excess sebum, refine skin texture, "lift" metabolic impurities from tiny dermal pores, and provide a balanced condition for moisturizing. Evan Healy's Cleansing Milks also soften and soothe. The pH balanced formula is an effective choice for a variety of skin conditions, from the most delicate, sensitive and mature to dry and dehydrated with oily T-zone imbalances. Consistent use improves and normalizes your skin. Lightly scented with only pure, steam-distilled essential oils, the cleansing milks are made with certified organic hydrosols and botanical extracts.

Oil and water mix exceedingly well on the skin. As long as the oil is a plant source and not synthetic, it will not clog pores of feel heavy. Oil cleanses oil better than anything. This fact many sound counter-intuitive to those who battle excess oil, but it is true. Quite simply, the skin is made up of oil and water, so we are recreating a condition that the skin can recognize. Plant oils act in a completely different manner on the skin than a synthetic oil.
