The Balinese culture has used the healing power of volcanic sand from Mount Agung (Bali's largest live volcano) for medicinal and spiritual purposes from its ancient beginnings. When the great Agung last erupted in 1965 it spit rock and lava from its east-central jungle location all the way to the sea. Over the years, the volcanic rock, washing in and out to sea, has been transformed into a fine, nutrient-rich exfoliate. The Volcanic sand comes from a spiritually "hot" place where lush, water-spinach fields overflow bubbling spring water into the ocean. Its purpose in this soap is to actively exfoliate skin allowing the body to produce new, fresh, younger looking skin.
Peppermint essential oil fights bacterial infection and reduces the oiliness present with acne and blemishes. It stimulates circulation and helps enliven dull, dry skin. Peppermint oil leaves the skin feeling soft and silky. Tea tree essential oil is known and accepted internationally as an effective disinfectant, fungicidal, bactericidal, and virucidal. Tea tree oil is used to treat acne, sunburn, dandruff, burns, oily skin, rashes, insect bites, cuts, infected wounds and used regularly will maintain clear, healthy skin. An antiseptic, antibacterial oil, Lemon essential oil reduces sebaceous production and clears and tautens the skin. It can assist to slim, help disperse cellulite, and keep wrinkles away; A fresh, sparkling purifier.
